No Spelling this week ( I can hear the cheers now!) 😉

There will be no spelling this week.  We are going to have some fun with persuasive writing.  We will spend the week developing a persuasive writing piece to present to the class.  I think the kids should have a lot of fun with this.  We have done a little opinion writing already and the kids can be very persuasive… 🙂

What is ClassDojo

ClassDojo is a communication app for the classroom. It connects teachers, parents, and students who use it to share photos, videos, and messages through the school day. They use ClassDojo to work together as a team, share in the classroom experience, and bring big ideas to life in their classrooms and homes.

Food for thought

Let me encourage you to get up every day and focus on what you do have in life. Be thankful for the blessings of the little things, even when you don’t get what you expect.

Thankful for you and your child

I wanted to say thank you from the bottom of my heart to each of you for sharing your child with me each day.  They come to school ready to learn and I feel so blessed that they are in my class.  They make me smile and light up my day.  They work hard and are genuinely appreciative and get excited about learning, even about the littlest things.  I hope each of you have an enjoyable, relaxing Thanksgiving with your family and friends.
