Book Orders

There will be a book order form in Monday folders this week.  You can order online at  Our class code is H3P7Z.  You can find virtually any book online, and when you order through our class account, you help build our classroom library.  It is a win win situation.  🙂  Book orders will be due Wednesday, September 27th.  Please let me know if you have any questions about ordering.

Volunteers needed!

Math centers went great this week!  A big THANK YOU to my volunteers!  We couldn’t have done centers without you!  I have my September calendar, but I’m still looking for more volunteers to help Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday from 1:30-2:30.  Please email me if you are interested in volunteering.  I LOVE volunteers!  ?

4th Grade teachers are asking for donations for the following items:

Agenda books~ 3.00 each

Markers for the wooden Idaho~  We will be drawing landmarks on a wooden Idaho for our students to keep.  The markers are quite expensive so anything helps. ?

Binders~ We will be purchasing binders for our students to put together an Idaho History Portfolio.

Thank you!

Food for thought

My parents are my backbone. Still are. They’re the only group that will support you if you score zero or you score 40.

On a side note…I graded the Spelling test from this week and the majority of the class did poorly.  This was a difficult test so I will not be recording the grades.  I will send them home in the Monday folder so you can look at it, but don’t worry if it is not the grade your child had hoped for.  🙂 This week, our spelling list will consist of words from our Journeys reading series.  You can find the spelling words on Quizlet.
