ACADEMIC NEWS

This week, we continued practicing Opinion Writing.  Students used the information they learned about opinion writing to write their own paper.  We will finish this up next week.  I am very pleased with what I have seen so far. 🙂 In math, we learned the formulas for perimeter and area and applied them to real-world word problems.   In Idaho History, we finished our wooden Idaho and continued learning about the first people in Idaho, their culture, traditions and government.  The field trip to Celebration Park tied in perfectly with our 4th grade Idaho History curriculum.  The kids made me so proud when they were able to answer the questions that were asked!  A BIG Thank you to our parent volunteers for taking time out of your busy schedule to spend the day with our 4th grade class!
