Canned Food Drive

Student Council will be holding a Food Drive next week, November 12-15th.  The food will go to the Idaho Food Bank.  Please send in any extra canned or boxed goods.  Thank you!

Growth and Development

Our Growth and Development video will be Friday, December 7th.  Permission slips to watch the video will be sent home after Thanksgiving break.  Students must return the signed permission slip in order to watch the video.

Mbots coming to our classroom!

I am very excited to announce that I have received a grant for over $1,400 to purchase some Mbots for our classroom.  My husband will be coming into our classroom to teach coding and building of robots using critical thinking skills.  I am beyond excited to get started!  I will send pictures when we receive our STEAM goodies!  ?

I am so grateful for each of you! I have changed Math centers to Monday, Wednesday and Thursday because of Math focus groups. I am still looking for more volunteers. If you are able to help with Math centers on Monday, Wednesday or Thursday afternoon for 1 hour, that would be great. Even if it’s just once a month.

Food for thought

Let me encourage you to get up every day and focus on what you do have in life. Be thankful for the blessings of the little things, even when you don’t get what you expect.

Thankful for you and your child

I wanted to say thank you from the bottom of my heart to each of you for sharing your child with me each day.  They come to school ready to learn and I feel so blessed that they are in my class.  They make me smile and light up my day.  They work hard and are genuinely appreciative and get excited about learning, even about the littlest things.  I hope each of you have an enjoyable, relaxing Thanksgiving with your family and friends.
