We are inviting parents to bring a picnic lunch on the last day of school to enjoy with their kiddos. Lunch will be at the usual time for an early release day. If your child will need to purchase a sack lunch for school that day, please respond to this email by May 24th.
A sack lunch will consist of the following:

Ham or Turkey Sandwich
Baby Carrots
Applesauce
Cookie
Milk

Thank you!

Upcoming field trips

On Monday, students will be bringing home permission slips for 2 field trips.  Please return the permission slips by Friday, May 11th.  We will be going to Meridian Middle for Rendezvous on Friday, May 18th and Idaho City on Monday, May 21st.  We will need all the volunteers we can get for Rendezvous.  There will be a parent information night coming soon with helpful information.  Stay tuned. 🙂

We will begin our novel study this week so there will be no spelling test or reading log.  I will tell the students that this doesn’t mean they can’t read or do zearn.org.  🙂  We will be working on some project based activities in both ELA and Math. It will be fun!

Night Out on the Town Gift Basket

Thank you so much for all the donations we have received for our class gift basket.  ?  I think I will have to bid on our basket!  There are a lot of great items!  All items must be turned in by  May 10th.  Thank you in advance!
