Growth and Development

Our Growth and Development video will be Friday, December 7th.  I will be sending home a permission slip this week.   Students must return the signed permission slip in order to watch the video.

Bri Eggers with KTVB will be visiting our classroom on Wednesday, November 28th.  Our classroom is being filmed for their weekly segment Innovative Educators.  I will need to have permission slips returned before Wednesday.  Otherwise, your child will not be filmed.  This should be fun!  🙂

Mbots coming to our classroom!

I am very excited to announce that I have received a grant for over $1,400 to purchase some Mbots for our classroom.  My husband will be coming into our classroom to teach coding and building of robots using critical thinking skills.  I am beyond excited to get started!  I will send pictures when we receive our STEAM goodies!  🙂

Volunteers
I am so grateful for each of you! I have changed Math centers to Monday, Wednesday and Thursday because of Math focus groups. I am still looking for more volunteers. If you are able to help with Math centers on Monday, Wednesday or Thursday afternoon for 1 hour, that would be great. Even if it’s just once a month.

Food for thought

LET ME ENCOURAGE YOU TO GET UP EVERY DAY AND FOCUS ON WHAT YOU DO HAVE IN LIFE. BE THANKFUL FOR THE BLESSINGS OF THE LITTLE THINGS, EVEN WHEN YOU DON’T GET WHAT YOU EXPECT.
